NGC 2399 is a magnitude 13-14 group of three stars located in the constellation Canis Major.

The grouping was discovered by American astronomer George Phillips Bond using a 38.1 cm (15 inch) refractor at Harvard on the 26th February 1853.

Right Ascension  07h 29m 49.9s, Declination Dec -00° 12' 49"
