NGC 2575 (also UGC 4368, MCG 4-20-40, IRAS08198 2427 and PGC 23501) is a magnitude +12.8 spiral galaxy located 178 million light-years away in the constellation Cancer.

The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Jean-Marie Stephan using the Foucault 80 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseilles Observatory on the 23rd February 1878.

The galaxy hosted Supernova 2002an.

Right Ascension 08h 22m 45.0s, Declination Dec +24° 17' 49"
