NGC 1334 (also UGC 2759, MCG 7-8-18, ZWG 541.17, IRAS03266+4139 and PGC 13001) is a magnitude +13.8 spiral galaxy located 196 million light-years away in the constellation Perseus.
The galaxy was discovered by Danish-German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 Merz-Refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 14th February 1863.
