NGC 2463 (also MCG 10-12-31, ZWG 287.13, Arak 145 and PGC 22291) is a magnitude +14.2 elliptical galaxy located 381 million light-years away in the constellation Lynx.

The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 10th February 1831. 

Right Ascension 07h 57m 12.2s, Declination +56° 40' 37"
