NGC 2763 (also IRAS 09044-1517, MCG -2-23-10 and PGC 25570) is a magnitude +12.0 spiral galaxy located 87 million lightyears away in Hydra.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 8th February 1785. 

Right Ascension 09h 06m 49.0s, Declination -15° 29' 57"
