NGC 2781 (also MCG -2-24-2, IRAS09091-1436 and PGC 25907) is a magnitude +11.6 spiral galaxy located 94 million light-years away in Hydra.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 8th February 1785. 

Right Ascension 09h 11m 27.5s, Declination -14° 49' 02"
