NGC 3358 (also ESO 376-17, MCG -6-24-9, IRAS10412-3609 and PGC 31974) is a magnitude +11.5 barred spiral galaxy located 38.3 million parsecs (125 million light-years) away in the constellation Antlia.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at the Cape of Good Hope on the 2nd February 1835.
