NGC 2483 (also OCL 677 and ESO 430-SC2) is a magnitude +7.6 open cluster, angular size of 9.0', located ~5410 light-years away in the constellation Puppis.
 The open cluster transits around midnight, 19th January.

The cluster was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 22nd January 1835.

Right Ascension 07h 55m 39.0s, Declination -27° 53' 42"
