NGC 2708 (also NGC 2727, MCG 0-23-15, GWT 5.34, IRAS08535-0309 and PGC 25097) is a magnitude +12.0 spiral galaxy located 92 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope on the 6th January 1785.
The galaxy was rediscovered by John Herschel in 1826 and re-listed as NGC 2727.

Right Ascension 08 56 07.9 Declination -03° 21' 38"
