NGC 1326 (also ESO 357-26, MCG -6-8-11, IRAS03220-3638, FCC 29, and PGC 12709) is a magnitude +10.6 face-on barred spiral/disk-shaped galaxy located 62 million light years away in the constellation Fornax. NGC 1326 lies close to NGC 1326A and NGC 1326B . It is part of the small Fornax Cluster, which contains 58 galaxies.

The galaxy was discovered by John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town on the 29th November 1837.
