NGC 932 (also PGC 9379, UGC 1931, MCG 07-03-14, GWT 462.14, 20,0087 NPM1G and IRAS02251 2006) is a magnitude +12.5 face-on spiral galaxy located 188 million light-years away in the constellation Aries.
In many catalogues the galaxy bears the designation of NGC 930. NGC 930 is regarded as a nonexistent object recorded by British astronomer Ralph Copeland the 26 October 1872 in the constellation of Aries.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Clay Hall Farm, old Windsor, Berkshire, on the 29th November 1785.
