NGC 1010 (also NGC 1006, IRAS 02351-1114, MCG -2-7-44 ans PGC 9949) is a magnitude +14.1 spiral galaxy located 211 million light-years away in the constellation Cetus.

The galaxy was first discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflecting telescope at the Marseille Observatory on the 21st November 1876.

The galaxy was rediscovered by Lewis Swift on the 29th September 1886, and relisted as NGC 1006

Right Ascension 02h 37m 34.8s, Declination -11° 01' 31"
