Mr. Yanagimachi kindly reported: (a) that the name of the girl hit by the meteorite is Chyu Kuriyama (born October 26, 1923); (b) that her mother's name is Teru Kuriyama (then 28 years old) ; that no sound was heard when the meteorite fell ; (d) that no other piece of meteorite was recovered in the vicinity ; and (e) that the meteorite was brought to the school on April 30, [1927] and keptvthereafter by Mr. Yanagimachi until he sent it to me.

On January 12, 1928, I received a letter from Mr. Seiichi Yanagimachi, ... The inclosed specimen of meteorite fell on Mr. Tahei Kuriyarna's property in our village at about 9 A.M., April 29, 1927. At the time his second daughter was 5 [3½] years old was playing in the garden, when, to her mothers astonishment, she suddenly cried out. Her mother found that she had suffered head injuries in two places and that a small piece of stone had come to rest on her neck-band. The meteorite is reported to have been hot at first.

The Aba Pseudometeorite is reported to have fallen in Kanto, Japan, in 28 April, 1927. 

35° 57'N, 140° 24'E
