Barnaul 52°44' N, 84°5' E Near Tomsk, Altai Republic, Russia

Synonym(s): Altai; Teleutskoe Osero

After the appearance of a brilliant meteor and detonations many small stones fell near Barnaul, but only six were recovered, V. N. Mamontov (1919). The total recovered weight is 23.2g, and the heaviest fragment 9.3g; all the material is in the Acad. Sci. Moscow, E L Krinov (1945, 1947).

The Barnaul (H5) meteorite fell in Altayskiy kray, Russia, on the 22nd May, 1904.
A total mass of 23.2 g was recovered.

52° 44'N, 84° 5'E
