Title: Cilimus - A new chondrite fall
Authors: Miller, J., Nelen, J., Fredriksson, K., Darsoprajitno, S., & Padmanagara, S.

Cilimus is a new Indonesian chondrite. Its mineralogy and chemistry categorise it as a veined, intermediate-to-white hypersthene or L-5 chondrite. Black veins and impact-produced glasses including maskelynite show evidence that Cilimus has been severely shocked.

The Cilimus (L5) meteorite fell in Jawa Barat, Indonesia, on the 7th May, 1979.
A total mass of 1600 g was recovered.

6° 57'S, 108° 6'E
