Erxleben. April 15 1812. A stone, of the size of a child's head, fell at Erxleben; and a specimen of it is in the possession of Professor Haussmann, of Brunswick.

Fall 1812. April 15, 16:00 hrs Stone. Chondrite. Ordinary (H6)
Synonym(s): Erx Uben; Magdeburg
Approx. recovered weight: 2.25 kg
A stone of about 2.25kg fell, after detonations, between Magdeburg and Helmstedt, J.F.L. Hausmann & G.U.A. Vieth (1812).

The Erxleben (H6) meteorite fell in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany, on the 15th April, 1812.
A total mass of 2.25 kg was recovered.
