On 25 March 1843 a "stone of about 13lb (5.9kg) fell after detonations", C.U. Shepard (1848). It fell almost 160 years ago, in Lee County, South Carolina, USA, and is still fresh. Bishopville is classified as an achondrite, Ca-poor aubrite. Notice the large crystals. Aubrites are magmas that solidified inside the asteroid instead of erupting on the surface like eucrites.
