Name: VETLUGA (Betyra)
Place of fall: 7 km distant from the town Vetluga, Gorky district, USSR.
57°48'N., 45°48'E.
Date of fall: February 27, 1949, day time.
Class and type: Stone. Achondrite.
Number of individual specimens: 1
Total weight: 750 g
Circumstances of fall: A meteorite fell in forest 80 m from south shore of Bobrovo lake. No atmospheric flight was observed. The meteorite is kept in the Vetluga Museum.

The Vetluga (Eucrite) meteorite fell in Nizhegorodskaya oblast', Russia, on the 27th February, 1949.
A total mass of 750 g was recovered.

57° 48'N, 45° 48'E
