1740, October 25th, at noon, two meteorites, weighing six and fifty-three pounds respectively, fell near the town of Hasargrad or Rasgrad, between Rustchuk and Shumla in Bulgaria.

Synonym(s): Razgrad
Approx. recovered weight: 24.7 kg
Two stones, of 49.51b (22.4kg) and 51b (2.3kg). fell at Hasargrad ( = Rasgrad = Hesargrad), now in Bulgaria.

The Rasgrad (Stone) meteorite fell in Razgrad, Bulgaria, on the 25th October, 1740.
A total mass of 24.7 kg was recovered.

43° 30'N, 26° 32'E
