Synonym(s): Ciaillac; Laissac
Approx. recovered weight: 1.5 kg After detonations, a stone of 1 .5kg was found.

The Favars (H5) meteorite fell in Midi-Pyrenees, France, on the 21st October, 1844.
A total mass of 1500 g was recovered.

44° 23'N, 2° 49'E
