The Manych chondrite meteorite fell October 20, 1951, in the northeastern part of the Stavropol district near the towns of Spasskoye and Burlatskoye. The first fragment found weighs 1,860 g. A second fragment, which weighs 1,695 g, has now been located.

The Manych (LL3.4) meteorite fell in Kalmykiya-Khal'mg Tangch, Russia, on the 20th October, 1951.
A total mass of 3.56 kg was recovered.

45° 49'N, 44° 38'E
