Comet P/2011 S1 (GIBBS) was discovered on the 6th June, 2011, by A. R. Gibbs (Mount Lemmon Survey).
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 3rd October, 2014, at a distance of 6.8 AU from the Sun, and a period of 25.46 years.

Comet C/2011 S1 (GIBBS) was discovered on the 18th September, 2011, by A. Gibbs (Mt. Lemmon Survey).
The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate a perihelion passage on the 16th January, 2013, at a distance of 4.99 AU from the Sun.
