Monte das Fortes Alemtejo province, Portugal
Fall 1950, August 23, late afternoon
Stone. Chondrite. Ordinary (L5)
Approx. recovered weight: 4885 g
Five stones were collected along a 2km SW-NE line, weights 1834g, I350g, 860g, 818g, and 23g.

The Monte Das Fortes (L5) meteorite fell in Beja, Portugal, on the 23rd August, 1950.
A total mass of 4.89 kg was recovered.
