Dr. Gustav Skrov (Czeske-Budeevice, Czechoslovakia) in a letter, X.14 1964 reported about discovery by him together with Dr. B. Polesny and Dr. J. Ihm a fragment of the stony (chondrite) meteorite of Strkov (Tabor) weighing 67.5 gr in Trebone in 1962. The meteorite was turned over to the Popular Observatory of Ceske Budejovice.

This very rare and historic H5 chondrite fell on July 3, 1753 in the Czech Republic. This 0.56 gram fragment is from the NEMS.

The Tabor (H5 chondrite) meteorite fell in the Jihocesky region of Czech Republic, on the 3rd July, 1753.
A total mass of 7540 g was recovered.

49° 24'N, 14° 39'E
