Fall on June 30, 1984. Olivine-hypersthene chondrite L6. TKW=320gm. Went through galvanised roof of printing shop.

Aomori 40°48'38" N, 1 40°47'8" E
Aomori city, Aomori-ken, Honshu, Japan
Fall 1984, June 30, 13:50 hrs
Stone. Olivine-hypersthene chondrite (L6). Olivine Fa24 4.
Number of individual specimens: 1, collected as 12 fragments.

No fireball was seen, nor any detonations heard, prior to the fall of the stone which fragmented on penetrating the zinc roof of a printing shop.

The Aomori (L6 chondrite) meteorite fell in Tohoku, Japan, on the 30th June, 1984.
A total mass of 320 g was recovered.  

40°48'38'N, 140°47'8"E.
