"One or more stones fell in Lancon, after we had heard shots and saw a fireball in the sky. The details of the fall and discovery does not seem to have been recorded. We just know that a harvest worker, Mr. Descordes, who worked for a Lancon farmer found on the ground after the meteorite fall."

The Lancon (H6 Chondrite) meteorite fell in Bouches du Rhone, France, on the 20th June, 1879.
A total mass of 7kg was recovered.

43° 45'N, 5° 7'E
