Supernova 2010gi

Confirmed
A magnitude 15.8 supernova, 2010gi, was discovered by M. Tsuboi (Japan) on the 18th July, 2010, in the spiral galaxy IC 4660 in the constellation Ursa Major.
The supernova is located 3.7" East and 9.4" South from the center of the galaxy.
As yet the type is unknown.

Position (2000): RA 17 21 46.06, Dec +75 50 44.5

A possible magnitude 14.9 supernova was discovered on the 18th July, 2010, in the spiral galaxy IC 4660 in the constellation Ursa Major.
The supernova is located 3" East and 11" South from the center of the galaxy.

Position (2000): RA 17 21 46.0, Dec +75 50 44.3
