The Utrecht was a witnessed multiple fall, which occurred in the neighbourhood of Utrecht city (Dutch province of Utrecht, in the center of the country) on June 2, 1843, around 8 p.m. local time with an overcast sky. The meteorite broke up during its passage through the atmosphere, fragmenting into at least two fragments. Over an area of more than 25 kilometres, three or four heavy "sonic booms" were heard, followed by a high pitched screaming sound.

The Utrecht (L6) meteorite fell in Utrecht, Netherlands, on the 2nd June, 1843.
A total mass of 9.7 kg was recovered.
