In Veneto, with a surface area of 18,400 square kilometres, only two meteorites are known, both seen falling. The most 'recent' the Noventa Vicentina (VI) 177 g of ordinary chondrite fall May 12, 1971 and the second, and much larger size, the 'Vago' (VR) fall on the night of June 21, 1688

The Noventa Vicentina (H4) meteorite fell in Veneto, Italy, on the 12th May, 1971.
A total mass of 177 g was recovered.

45° 17' 30"N, 11° 31' 38"E
