Asteroid (187) Lamberta is at Opposition in the constellation Virgo at ~08:00 UT, 20th April 2018. 

Magnitude: 10.1 V
Distance to Earth: 1.069 AU

The magnitude 13.3 asteroid (187) Lamberta will occult the magnitude 6.2 star HD 360 in the constellation Cetus, at 05:54 UT, 22nd July, 2010.
The 98.8 second event is visible from Antarctica.

Position (2000): RA 00 08 17.5325, Dec -08 49 26.804

187 Lamberta is a main-belt asteroid that was discovered by French (Corsican) astronomer Jérôme Eugène Coggia on April 11, 1878, and named after the astronomer Johann Heinrich Lambert.
